The Borneo Project steering committee covers our administrative  expenses, so 100% of your donation goes to help urgent initiatives in Borneo.

Here’s how you can help:

LEGAL AID FUND:

Enable indigenous communities in Sarawak to challenge industrial land grabs by pursuing lawsuits to protect customary land rights. The Legal Aid Fund helps pay needy communities' costs to file lawsuits in court and develop effective evidence to support their claims.  Emergency funds may be used to help fight community evictions.

PENAN COMMUNITY SCHOOLS:

Help Penan children learn to read, write, and prepare for school at indigenous-language community schools in three Penan villages. These communities are threatened by logging and plantation encroachment. They want their children to grow to be educated, skilled advocates for indigenous rights. Let's help them protect their forests and culture.
